Københavns Plantefarveri x Excelsior x Andrea Deres x Shiso Studio

The Blank Canvas / Opening Ritual was an opening performance that acted as an inauguration to the series of events that took place in Mrs. Phink’s House over the course of 3 weeks in May 2019. The performance was an original collaboration between textile artist Maja Lund Hvidtfeldt from Københavns Plantefarveri, musician Anja T. Lahrmann from Excelsior and dancer Andrea Deres.

The blank canvas that was painted and infused with moods and flowers during the performance was later placed in the entrance of Mrs. Phink’s House.

In collaboration with Shiso Studio we did a range of textile installations, performances and workshops for Mrs. Phink’s House in the spring of 2019.

Mrs. Phink’s House is a platform to create experiences between people, plants and food. For three weeks Teaterøen’s Bunker was turned into a venue for food artists, musical + dance performances, textile and food workshops that respond to concepts of saltwater and coastal landscapes, and celebrates plants’ abilities to both inspire and have purpose.
