Terms of purchase
Welcome to Københavns Plantefarveri’s webshop. This website is operated by Københavns Plantefarveri IVS. You are most welcome to contact us at: email@example.com if you have any questions regarding the products, the orders and delivery time.
When you are shopping with us you are automatically accepting our sales conditions. Therefore, we recommend that you read the following carefully before placing your order.
Københavns Plantefarveri reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any given time without prior notice. We therefore recommend you to review these terms and conditions whenever you use this website.
Workshop booking policy
Once you have made a workshop or event booking, if you wish to cancel, we ask that you provide 4 weeks notice, or alternatively, you may replace yourself.
Any cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to the workshop is non-refundable.
If you are paid-up for a workshop and cannot attend, and you advise us 4+ weeks prior to the workshop, your cancellation admin fee is 20% of the workshop fee. We charge an admin fee, due to the time it takes to make these types of arrangements and the time it takes to make refunds.
In any of these cases, if you can simply replace yourself, we will make no charge for changing the name of the attendee. If you do this, please advise us of who is coming 1 week in advance, and make sure you forward all workshop information to them, or ask them to send us an email whereby we can send them all workshop information directly. In this instance, we do not refund and recharge and you must make your own arrangement with your replacement.
We apologize if you are unable to receive a refund. We understand that sometimes very difficult circumstances can arise, however we hope you understand how we arrive at our policy. Please make sure, before you book, that you can follow through and attend the workshop if at all possible.
In the case that we cancel the workshop, we will refund all monies owing to you within 3 days.
Made by order
Please note that all products are made by order at our studio in Copenhagen. Therefore delivery dates may take up to 6 weeks after placed order. Contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org for further information about your order.
Disclaimer - legal notice
Due to our small production Københavns Plantefarveri can not guarantee that all products on the website are in stock, and changes in the assortment are possible. Should this affect your order we will contact you shortly.
We reserve ourselves for any eventual fault in printing on the site including prices. Due to the digital format of photographs it is difficult to guarantee that the pictures are exactly reflecting the real products.
All products are covered by the Danish Sale of Goods, giving you 24 months to complain regarding a purchase. This does not cover defects caused by improper use, faulty maintenance or general wear.
All prices shown are given in DKK and include 25 % VAT within Denmark.

Age of Customers
To order goods from kbhplantefarveri.dk you must be at least 18 years of age, or have parental consent. All goods remain the property of Københavns Plantefarveri until full payment has been received by the company.
Placing an order
You can place an order at our webshop by choosing the product. You can add several products to your basket and adjust the quantity before proceeding to payment. To fulfill your order you will be asked to enter your personal data (i.e. address, e-mail and telephone number) and payment information. There is no need to set up an account.
If you order from a country that is part of the European Union, prices include Danish VAT at 25%. For all countries outside the EU and USA local charges such as import duties and/or sales tax may apply. These charges are at your own expense and we recommend you to contact your local customs office for more information.
After you have placed your order we will send you a preliminary confirmation via email and normally process your order within 3-6 business days. In the case of a delay, e.g. due to stock availability, we will inform you by email. Once your order has been shipped we will send you the final confirmation and tracking information for your order via email.
Shipping Costs and Delivery
Listed below are general shipping costs calculated in Danish Kroner:
Denmark: 100 DKK
Rest of the world: If you need sheeping outside of Denmark please contact us by mail and we will make a deal about an individual shipping.
All shipments are sent from Denmark by GLS, who will transport the goods to your nearest collection point. You are also welcome to pick up the package at our studio, by appointment.
We use Stripe for all transactions from the shop. By doing so we offer our customers to securely and conveniently send and receive payments online. With Stripe your financial information is kept private and every Stripepayment is followed by an email confirming your transaction. You can choose to pay with VISA, MasterCard or American Express.

Refunds of transactions that were funded by bank account or Stripe balance are credited instantly to the customers Stripe account.
Taxes and Duties
You are responsible for any additional taxes and duties. Københavns Plantefarveri is not responsible for any fees charged by customs.
As these charges are imposed directly by your local Customs, we are unable to advise the amount this may be. We recommend you to contact your local post office to obtain a landed cost estimate.
We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched. Delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization or destination customs clearance.
During shipment to you Københavns Plantefarveri is liable for all damaged or lost goods. If you decide to return a product and the goods are lost or damaged on their way back, you are liable.
Københavns Plantefarveri will happily accept returns on unused items within 30 days of receipt of your item. All returns and exchanges must be approved beforehand so please email us prior to returning your item. It’s not possible to refund a product by simply rejecting the receipt of the package. The shipping costs are not refunded and buyer will be responsible for the return shipping costs and risks. Returned items must be in brand new condition, with the original packaging and be unworn and unused. Københavns Plantefarveri reserves the right to reject any items that do not fit these standards. Custom orders, such as our garments from The Blank Canvas Collection, are not valid for an exchange or refund.
Items are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 12 month of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Faulty items will be exchanged to the same type of product in the same size, subject to availability.
We always recommend that delicate materials should be handled with care. Please follow the instructions for washing and handling of the garment.

Colour and after-service on our garments
Compared to synthetic dyeing, natural dyes can fade faster over time. Colour loss is unavoidable but we try our upmost to make colours that last. We offer a free re-dyeing service to keep the colours fresh. If the colour on your garment fades to something you absolutely don’t like, we will try our best to dye it into another colour that you love. This service is guaranteed for the life of your product.
Københavns Plantefarveri’s garments can be re-dyed for free. We want you to enjoy these colours as long as possible, so we offer a lifetime re-dyeing service on our products.
Note that we can’t always re-dye the product back to the colour you purchased because patterned items are difficult to re-dye, so we offer to over-dye them with a solid colour. Furthermore some kinds of stains, like food or sweat, will show up darker or lighter after re-dyeing.
Plants and natural materials can carry allergens in its natural state and may not be well tolerated by individuals with certain sensitivities, meaning that “natural” does not mean it is safe for all. We list all dye ingredients on our garments and if you feel discomfort, please discontinue use and seek medical attention.

Right to complain
In case you wish to make a complaint about goods purchased from Københavns Plantefarveri, please contact us here.
You may also submit a complaint about goods purchased from us to the Danish Dispute Resolution Institute, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. It is also possible to submit a complaint online via forbrug.dk.
You can also use the European Commission’s online complaints register when submitting your complaint. This is especially relevant if you are a consumer living in another EU country. When submitting the complaint, state our email address info[at]kbhplantefarveri.dk.
In case we fail to reach a settlement through the Danish Dispute Resolution Institute, you will have access to submit a complaint to the Consumer Complaints Board.
